Twitter Censors Video of Jim Jordan Interview Criticizing ‘Cancel Culture’

“What gives @Jack?” House Judiciary Committee Republicans asked Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey Wednesday after the social media platform censored a post of Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) – in which he criticizes censorship.

“The following video includes potentially sensitive content,” Twitter says, covering Rep. Jordan’s tweet of his appearance on Newsmax TV, in which he and Rep. Rodney Davis (R-Illinois) criticize the liberal Cancel Culture currently emerging in the U.S.

No information about the title, nature or content of Rep. Jordan’s Twitter post is visible, unless the Twitter user clicks on “View,” completely unaware of what might follow.

The House Judiciary Committee Republicans’ tweet asks Dorsey why his social media platform would censor a video defending free speech rights and denouncing censorship:

In the video, Representatives Jordan and Davis also discuss Democrats’ so-called COVID relief bill, as well as President Joe Biden’s lack of transparency, stance on immigration and school shutdowns – and their push to have Newsmax added to the House’s available news feeds.
